Jessica Pegula has sparked concern for her future in the Miami Open tournament, despite coming back to beat Anna Kalinskaya.
Pegula made history with her victory over Kalinskaya, as she booked her place in the last-16 of the Miami Open for a fifth consecutive year.
It has been an impressive start to the season for American players, with Pegula one of five US WTA players in the last-16 at the Miami Open this year.
However, after taking to the court alongside compatriot Ashlyn Krueger, Pegula suffered a setback that has caused concern for her future at the Miami Open tournament.

Jessica Pegula suffers injury that forces her to retire from Miami Open doubles match
Pegula and Krueger were competing against the team of Fang-Hsien Wu and Xinyu Jiang, and actually led the match 3-1.
However, after taking a medical timeout Pegula decided that she could not continue and retired from the match.
A right thigh injury has been cited as the reason for this retirement, with Pegula now facing a race against time to be fit for her next singles match.
This is not the only leg related injury that the 31-year-old has suffered in recent months, with Pegula also withdrawing from the WTA Finals last year.
When does Jessica Pegula play her next singles match?
After beating Kalinskaya in two hours and 19 minutes, Pegula will now play Ukrainian player Marta Kostyuk.
This match will take place on the Butch Buchholz court at the Miami Open on Monday March 24, with Pegula scheduled fourth on that court.
The world number four will take to the third biggest court at the Miami Open after the match between Emma Raducanu and Amanda Anisimova.
Pegula has the lead in her head-to-head against Kostyuk, but it is the Ukrainian who won their most recent encounter that came on the San Diego hard courts last year.
