Jasmine Paolini has made a big decision about her coaching setup ahead of the Australian Open next year.
Paolini qualified for the WTA Finals for a second consecutive year in both singles and doubles, alongside winning the Italian Open, backing up her breakthrough season in 2024.
This has not been without some big changes being made, including Paolini splitting from her long-term coach back in March.
Paolini also had a brief stint with Marc Lopez, but she has now confirmed her team for the start of the 2026 season.

Jasmine Paolini adds Sara Errani to her coaching team
Danilo Pizzorno joined forces with Paolini in September, helping her reach the semifinals of both the Wuhan Open and the Ningbo Open.
Pizzorno will remain on Paolini’s coaching team for the 2026 season, but he will not be working alone.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Paolini will now also have her doubles partner and nine-time Grand Slam champion Sara Errani in her coaching team.
Errani is often seen in Paolini’s coaching box, and she has now revealed that her compatriot will be working alongside her in a more formal role.
“Sara will be on my team starting next season,” said Paolini. “I’ll have two people this year: Danilo Pizzorno and Errani, who will be in charge of tactics, because she’s on another level.”
Who will win the 2026 Australian Open?
Will Sara Errani be retiring from tennis after joining Jasmine Paolini’s team?
With 2012 French Open singles finalist Errani now officially the coach of Paolini, it has brought up the question as to whether she will still be competing.
However, Errani has confirmed that she will still be playing alongside Paolini next year, admitting that she thought she would have retired after winning gold at the Paris Olympics.
“We’re still here playing,” said Errani. “I said I’d sign off if I won a medal, but we’re doing so well that it’s hard to stop.”
What has been the biggest shock of the 2025 season?
Paolini and Errani have won nine titles together as a pairing, including the French Open, gold at the Paris Olympics and five WTA 1000 tournaments.
They have also been a key part of the Italian Billie Jean King Cup team, which has won the title for the past two years.
