Novak Djokovic is showing no signs of age catching up to him at Wimbledon, and is into the third round at the championships for the 19th time in his career.

Djokovic earned a straight-sets victory over Dan Evans on Centre Court in round two, marking his 99th win at the All England Club.

The Serb, who is aiming to clinch a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title, will face his compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic in the next round.

He put on an impressive serving display against Evans, who said in his post-match press conference: “It felt like the tennis balls were back in my pocket very quickly.”

World number one Jannik Sinner also noticed how good Djokovic‘s service games were against the Briton, which he talked about after his victory over Aleksandar Vukic at Wimbledon.

What Jannik Sinner noticed about Novak Djokovic’s serve

After his triumph over Vukic, Sinner said of Djokovic: “We do have a couple of similarities in the way of how we hit the ball on the forehand and backhand.

“I feel like he has improved a lot the serve. Like today, he was serving incredibly well. The way he moves, I feel like he is still much more confident than I am on grass, how he moves.

“But this is also the experience he has more than I have. He mixed up the game a little bit more. I may be a little bit of a faster hitter. But in the other way, I’m also quite consistent like he is.

“I believe that he gave me a lot of information so that I can make my game similar to his, but in my style.

“I always try to see from certain players what I can take and try to see if it works well and he is definitely the main person that I look up to, trying to do a couple of things like him.”
