Jannik Sinner has reached the last-16 of the French Open in dominant fashion.
Sinner beat Jiri Lehecka in his third-round match, dropping just three games in doing so.
The world number one was so impressive in his performance that Lehecka believes only one player can beat Sinner.
Both Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are the top two seeds in Paris, but the Italian does not agree with what some people keep saying about them.

Jannik Sinner suggests he and Carlos Alcaraz should not be compared to ‘the big three’
After Sinner beat Lehecka, 6-0 6-1 6-2, on Court Suzanne-Lenglen he headed to speak on the TNT Sports desk with the likes of Sam Querrey and Caroline Wozniacki.
Former world number 11 Querrey compared Sinner and Alcaraz to the likes of Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, asking him how he found it being the favourite every time he stepped on court.
However, Sinner did not want to be compared to ‘the big three’ and instead suggested that he was focusing on himself.
“Honestly I don’t think we can compare me and Carlos yet to Rafa, Roger, Novak,” said Sinner. “I think we are still too young and we play just a couple of seasons at a very high level and we still have to show everything.
“Talking from my side it’s that I just want to feel well prepared. Me feeling well prepared and then in every situation I kind of know what to do.
“Of course, tennis is a very unexpected sport and you have to find solutions at times but it’s also a good feeling because it means that you are in the right spot. You want to show your opponent that you are there every time and trying to show up, so it’s a very different way of thinking but also I am quite happy.”
Who is Jannik Sinner playing next?
Next up for Sinner is Andrey Rublev, who has had a day’s extra rest following the withdrawal of Arthur Fils.
This will be the 10th meeting between Sinner and Rublev, with the former leading the head-to-head 6-3.
Despite this, Rublev may find some reassurance from the fact that he won his most recent clay court meeting against Sinner.
This came at the same stage of the French Open in 2022, with Sinner retiring in the third set of that match.
| Sinner vs Rublev | |
| Head-to-head on Clay | 2-1 Sinner |
| Overall Head-to-head | 6-3 Sinner |
Sinner and Rublev will play their fourth round match at this year’s French Open on Monday, June 2.
