Jannik Sinner continues to impress, as he now prepares for his maiden Roland Garros final.
Yet to drop a set in Paris, the ATP world number one produced another stellar performance in his semi-final match.
Facing off against a three-time champion, Sinner defeated Novak Djokovic in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5, 7-6 to book his place in Sunday’s final.

There, he will take on his biggest rival, Carlos Alcaraz, against whom he’s lost four matches in a row.
Speaking after his semi-final win, Sinner revealed the lessons he’s learned from his matches against Alcaraz and Djokovic.
Jannik Sinner says Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic have taught him to be more ‘unpredictable’
During his post-match press conference, Sinner was asked what he’s learned from his matches with Alcaraz.

“I think Novak [Djokovic] also gave me this a little bit, to be more unpredictable at times, and you have to be that,” he said.
“Because if you are playing the same way, they understand how you play, and especially best of five sets, you don’t win.
“When someone finds a solution, it is very difficult to get out of it. So it’s tough to say one part.”
The Italian went on to assess his clay-court improvements over the past 12 months.
“I feel like if I watched myself playing last year on clay and this year on clay, I have improved, which for me is the most important, so the process that I am doing is the right one,” said Sinner.

“So hopefully in one year’s time I can say the same thing, that’s my main goal and results and everything, whatever comes, comes.
“But I believe that if you work hard, the results are going to come.”
Despite playing just two clay-court events in 2025, Sinner has exceeded his 2024 efforts on the surface.

With their recent record in mind, many are predicting Alcaraz to extend his winning streak to five when they face off in the French Open final.
Sinner will be determined not to let that happen, as he looks to win his maiden Roland Garros title, prolonging his Calendar Grand Slam bid in the process.
The 2025 French Open final between Alcaraz and Sinner is set to take place on Sunday, June 7.
