Jannik Sinner has been speaking to Sky Sports about his ambitions for not just his tennis career but following on from that.
The Italian was chatting on their recently launched channel, Sky Sports Tennis, and was asked about how this newfound fame is impacting his life.

After all, the 22-year-old was the triumphant winner of last month’s Australian Open, catapulting his career to levels some can only dream of.
But what is it that Sinner revealed he values above all else, even his tennis career? We take a closer look…
What Jannik Sinner said about being a great tennis player
As a humble and quiet young man, we have been treated to the electric rise of the 6 foot 2 star across the last few years alongside some other emerging stars.
It is expected that he and Carlos Alcaraz could be due to dominate the tennis world for the next decade and beyond, such is their respective trajectories.
But, whether he continues his winning ways or not, he hopes that one thing remains a constant.
When answering Sky Sports’ question, he would note how he was once that wide-eyed kid looking up to those at the top of the game. As such, he treats others how he would have wanted to be treated.
Sinner simply responded: ‘Even me, when I was a kid, sometimes I went to people, idols where you ask for a picture or something, so I try to realise this and obviously it’s great to be a good tennis player but it’s more important to be a great person.’
Jannik Sinner is the best of both worlds
Fortunately for Sinner, he seems to be both an exceptional tennis player and a great human being as well.
One video that emerged following his Australian Open win only further detailed the latter notion, as he was interviewed by a young fan during his photoshoot.
The way he acted around a kid so clearly starstruck was heart-warming, and yet the trophy by his side helps to justify how is the best of both worlds.

Another example of his humility came in the post-match speech following his miraculous Melbourne comeback in the final, where he praised his parents for allowing him to do whatever made him happy without forcing him down one path.
He knows where he came from, and recognises what it took for him to achieve a success that many fail to accomplish throughout an entire career.
Matteo Berrettini, his countryman, has even revealed the budding relationship the two have forged in recent months.
Sinner is an outstanding player, and is set to dominate our screens for at least the next decade. He is only certain to earn many more fans along the way with this attitude too.
