Jannik Sinner is prepared for whoever he has to face in the semi-finals of the ATP Finals.

The Italian cruised into the last in Turin following the round robin stage where he won each of his matches against Alex de Minaur, Taylor Fritz and Daniil Medvedev.

He dropped serve just once over the course of those three matches and took his number of wins in tight this season to 67.

The 23-year-old is the favourite for many to take the title for the first time and evidence from his first three matches would throw plenty of weight behind that argument.

Who does Jannik Sinner want to face in the semi-finals of the ATP Finals?

Jannik Sinner’s spot in the last four of the ATP Finals was confirmed once Fritz levelled his comeback victory over De Minaur on Thursday afternoon.

The American’s victory was crucial as it confirmed he qualified for the semi-finals from the Ilie Năstase group along with Sinner.

In Saturday’s semi-finals, Sinner can face either Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev or Casper Ruud.

When asked if he had a preferred opponent in the last four, the two-time Grand Slam champion told Sky Sports: “No preference. It doesn’t really matter.

“Whoever is going to be on the other side of the net I will just try to play the best tennis that I can. I am going to watch. I am a tennis fan. So hopefully tomorrow I can see some great battles and some good matches!”

Sinner has already accomplished so much in what has been a fantastic 2024 season.

The 22-year-old claimed the hard court Grand Slam double by winning the Australian Open and US Open, and also became the World number one.

But there is another impressive statistic Sinner will have on his resume if he wins the ATP Finals for the first time.

He would become just the third player in history to win the ATP Finals, US Open and Australian Open in the same season.

The other men to achieve this feat are Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, two of the greatest players of all tine.
