Jannik Sinner has picked up yet another trophy in 2024 after beating Novak Djokovic in the Shanghai Masters final.
Sinner secured the year-end number one ranking with his semi-final win over Tomas Machac, with the Czech having knocked out Carlos Alcaraz.

Sinner lost the China Open to Carlos Alcaraz earlier this month, but has bounced back in superb fashion despite the quick turnaround.
The Serbian was chasing a 100th tour-level title, but was stopped in his tracks by a dominant display from the world number one.
