Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz are among the star names in Turin this week for the highly-anticipated ATP Finals.
And the former has already started off strongly on home soil, with Sinner beating Alex de Minaur in his opening group stage match.
Sinner practised with Taylor Fritz ahead of the ATP Finals, with the duo now going head-to-head next in Turin.
They did, of course, meet recently in the US Open final, which Sinner won to clinch his second Grand Slam title of the year.
The Italian also won the Australian Open, with Carlos Alcaraz winning the other two major finals at the French Open and Wimbledon.

Sinner and Alcaraz could be reunited at the ATP Finals, although they have been kept apart in the group stages.
All of their focus will be on going as far as possible in Turin, although Vogue did task the duo with sharing their plans for the off-season.

“Depends how much time I have – I go to the sea, or I stay in the mountains,” said Sinner, with Alcaraz noting: “I’m going to play some exhibitions and get some holidays with my friends – but I’m not going to say where!”

Sinner and Alcaraz met as recently as the Six Kings Slam, where the former edged out the latter in the final in Riyadh.
The Spaniard did, however, overcome the Italian during their China Open final last month, with their intense rivalry certain to continue for many years to come.
But both Alcaraz and Sinner will be grateful for a well-earned rest after a busy season that they have dominated.

There are, however, the Davis Cup Finals still to come, with both players looking to go all the way with their respective nations.
Sinner is the star man for defending champions Italy, while Alcaraz will be desperate to help compatriot Rafael Nadal retire from tennis in style with the Spanish team.
Italy meet Argentina in their quarter-final tie in Malaga, with Spain taking on the Netherlands on home soil.
