Emma Raducanu has reunited with coach Nick Cavaday ahead of the Australian Open which begins next week.
Now, the 2021 US Open champion has been discussing what she hopes to achieve going forward with BBC Sport.
We’ve taken a closer look at what the Great Britain star hopes to achieve under her childhood coach.
Emma Raducanu explains what she wants to achieve under Cavaday
Since laying her hands on the trophy created by Tiffany, Raducanu has endured a pretty bleak three years.
Raducanu burst onto the scene to defy the odds and win the US Open in just the fourth grand slam she ever played in.
In beating Leylah Fernandez from Canada it was anticipated that she’d become a serial slam winner.
Despite becoming a global superstar and appearing on the cover of several glossy magazines, her career has taken a frustrating turn.
She’s failed to make it past the second round of any slam since and missed three of the four events last season.
Last season was particularly tough in terms of injuries and she’s now slipped to a world ranking of 299.

Now, in a bid to revive her career and get back to doing what she does best, the 21-year-old has reunited with Cavaday.
Raducanu has told BBC Sport what she hopes to achieve and said: “The biggest goal I have going forward is just being healthy, being injury-free at the moment.
“And then, tennis-wise I think it’s really important for me to approach it with the identity of how I want to play tennis and not let anything dictate that. Results-wise I want to be more consistent.”
Raducanu will hope to shine at Australian Open
After he success in 2021, there will always be a vast interest in her matches when she takes to the court.
Raducanu has been granted entry straight into the main draw in Melbourne after USA player Lauren Davis withdrew.
As a result, she’s taken the opportunity to play two exhibition matches in an attempt to shake off any potential ring rust.
Raducanu needing surgery on ankle and wrist injuries is quite possibly a worst-case scenario for any tennis player.
Now, the Great Britain star will hope to prove over the next week or so that she can bounce back from those serious injury problems and get back to her best.
With Cavaday in her corner, you’d brave to back against it!
