Andy Roddick has been once again blessing us with his insight into the tennis world, as a new episode of his podcast has dropped.
Chatting about everything from Simona Halep to Carlos Alcaraz, the latter of which being a subject he was left baffled about, the former world number one covers the lot.
Even some older forgotten stars, whom he feels still deserve their flowers despite a waning influence on the sport.

But who did Roddick suggest still boasts a top-three shot in the world, despite being 33 years old? We take a closer look…
What Andy Roddick said about Milos Raonic
Chatting on the Served with Andy Roddick podcast, the American afforded his deepest sympathies for one veteran whose body just seems to be failing him.
And whilst this could apply to a number of stars at the moment including Andy Murray, in this particular instance he was discussing the recent struggles felt by Milos Raonic.
The Canadian was forced to bow out mid-way through his clash with Jannik Sinner at the Rotterdam Open, which the Italian would go on to win, despite troubling the world number three on occasion.
Unsurprisingly, the main source of his success came from his monster serve, which Roddick highlighted.
He claimed: ‘His serve is still one of the top three in the world, it’s a joke. But then the body just can’t quite get there and it stinks when you’re watching that in real time when it’s not a question of tennis ability, it’s just a question of can I get this body to actually work for me.’
Milos Raonic simply cannot finish a match
Unfortunately, Friday was not the first time that Raonic has been forced to pull out of a match due to an inability to continue.
After all, his Australian Open first-round clash with hometown hero Alex De Minaur was cut brutally short too, despite claiming the first set on a tie-break.

In that aforementioned match with Sinner too, that first set also went down to the wire, suggesting the world number 222 is able to compete with these top-ten stars.
He just lacks the consistency in his physicality to continue competing, and it is so sad to see.
Once a titan of the sport, having graced the world number three spot back eight years ago, it feels like his career is heading for a sad decline. We can only pray he recaptures some fitness to allow him to enjoy a longer run before he calls time on his career.
