Indian Wells 2025 dates

The Indian Wells first round starts on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, and the finals of the Men’s and Women’s Singles events are both on Sunday, March 16, 2025.

Where is Indian Wells played?

The tournament is held at Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California. The multi-million dollar facility was built in 2000 and expanded in 2014.

It boasts the second-largest tennis stadium in the world, behind Arthur Ashe Stadium, and another 8,000-seater as backup.

How to watch Indian Wells

Tennis fans in the United States can watch live coverage of Indian Wells on Tennis Channel, Tennis Channel 2 and the TC Plus streaming platform. They will show matches in every round of both the ATP and WTA tournaments.

Indian Wells prize money

The total prize money on offer to the players at the Indian Wells this week is $19.39 million. The event will award over $1.2m to the respective winners of the Men’s and Women’s Singles events.

Who won Indian Wells in 2024?

Carlos Alcaraz won his second consecutive Indian Wells title last year with an impressive 7-6, 6-1 victory over Daniil Medvedev in the final. He also beat Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev along the way.

Iga Swiatek beat Maria Sakkari 6-4, 6-0 to win the Indian Wells final in 2024. She benefitted from a favourable path to victory as Sakkari was the only top-10 seed she came up against.
