The Indian Wells first round starts on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, and the finals of the Men’s and Women’s Singles events are both on Sunday, March 16, 2025.
Where is Indian Wells played?
The tournament is held at Indian Wells Tennis Garden in California. The multi-million dollar facility was built in 2000 and expanded in 2014.
It boasts the second-largest tennis stadium in the world, behind Arthur Ashe Stadium, and another 8,000-seater as backup.

Who won Indian Wells in 2024?
Carlos Alcaraz won his second consecutive Indian Wells title last year with an impressive 7-6, 6-1 victory over Daniil Medvedev in the final. He also beat Jannik Sinner and Alexander Zverev along the way.
Iga Swiatek beat Maria Sakkari 6-4, 6-0 to win the Indian Wells final in 2024. She benefitted from a favourable path to victory as Sakkari was the only top-10 seed she came up against.
