‘I’m really excited’… Carlos Alcaraz announces he’s definitely playing at tournament he won in 2023

It won’t be long before the clocks change and the summer draws upon us and Carlos Alcaraz has now confirmed some of his plans.

The Spanish player has been speaking on X about a decision he has made ahead of the summer.

Carlos Alcaraz shares exciting summer plans

Well, this is extremely positive news for tennis fans in Great Britain as Alcaraz makes a summer announcement.

He’s today confirmed that he will be back at the Cinch Championships to defend his crown at Queen’s Club in June.

The pre-Wimbledon rehearsal lasts for a week and Alcaraz will hope to lift another title at the event.

Alcaraz took to X to make the announcement and he claimed he couldn’t wait to get over to London.

He said: “Hello everyone, Carlos Alcaraz here. I want to say that I am going to be back at Queen’s. I had a great time last year and I’m really excited to come to Queen’s again. See you there!”

Alcaraz will hope for positive summer

The Spaniard will have a positive memory from the summer of last year when he claimed a Wimbledon crown for the first time.

He won the title by beating Novak Djokovic in the final after he’d defeated Alex de Minaur in the final at Queen’s.

Alcaraz is a real fan favourite and it’s great for the game in this country that he’s agreed to come back to Queen’s prior to Wimbledon. ]

The talented youngster is exciting to watch and it would be hard to bet against him winning another crown at Queen’s club this summer.
