Iga Swiatek is looking ahead to her next tournament following her Dubai Tennis Championships defeat.
The World number two was searching for her first title of the season and looked to be the favourite following shock defeats to Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff.
But Pole could not get the better of Mirra Andreeva, who defeated Swiatek 6-3, 6-3 to move into her first WTA 1000 final.
Iga Swiatek has now gone eight months without winning a title, but she is aiming to end her drought as soon as possible.

Swiatek’s wait for a title in 2025 continues following her defeat to Andreeva in the Dubai Tennis Championships quarter-finals.
After having some time to reflect on her latest result, the five-time Grand Slam champion took to X to announce to address her fans and announce that she will be playing at the Indian Wells Masters in March.
“Obviously not the results and performance I wanted this year and I needed a few hours to process it. But the train and grind never stop,” Swiatek said.
“Now quick time to regroup and learn a lesson. Looking forward to seeing you in Tennis Paradise very soon. Thank you Doha, thank you Dubai.”

What is Iga Swiatek’s Indian Wells Masters record?
Swiatek has made five appearances at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden during her career.
She has an impressive record on the surface, and is a two-time champion after claiming the title in 2022 and 2024.
Swiatek defeated Maria Sakkari to lift the title in 2022, before facing the same opponent two years later to become a two-time champion.
Once again entering the tournament as the defending champion, Swiatek will be aiming to successfully defend the WTA 100 title.
