Where and when is the 2027 Australian Open?
The 2027 Australian Open will take place from Sunday, January 17 to Sunday, January 31. This means it will start and finish one day earlier than this year.
Melbourne Park has staged the Australian Open since 1988 and will continue to host the event for at least another 20 years.
The largest venue at the complex is the Rod Laver Arena, with a capacity of 15,000. Meanwhile, the John Cain Arena seats 10,500 and the Margaret Court Arena 7,500.
Melbourne Park is easily accessible for fans, as it is within walking distance of the city center and has several nearby transport links.
How to buy Australian Open tickets
The Australian Open organizers have yet to announce when tickets for next year’s tournament will go on sale.

Australian Open ticket prices
Ticket prices for the 2027 Australian Open have not been confirmed. However, they will probably be similar to this year.
Fans can purchase tickets for each of the three arenas (Rod Laver, Margaret Court, and John Cain) or a grounds pass, which includes access to all the other courts.
The Rod Laver Arena is the most expensive, with prices from AU$100 (US$67) in the first week to $1,300 ($870) for the men’s final.
Grounds pass tickets are the most affordable, costing between AU$60 and $90 (US$40-60) for the entire day.
Another thing to consider is that tickets to the night sessions are more expensive than the day sessions.
