The top 10 of the ATP Tour has undergone significant changes at the start of the 2026 season, which has been kicked off by the United Cup.

Many ATP stars are playing at the tournament in Perth and Sydney in Australia, which also involves WTA players.

Taylor Fritz is flying the flag for the USA, the defending champions of the United Cup, with Alex de Minaur representing hosts Australia.

The likes of Casper Ruud, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Flavio Cobolli, Stan Wawrinka and Alexander Zverev are also taking part.

Alex de Minaur and Ben Shelton make moves in new ATP top 10

The action is ongoing, but at the same time the ATP rankings have been updated, with plenty of changes within the top 10.

And it isn’t good news for American star Fritz, who has dropped three places in the world rankings to eighth.

At his expense, De Minaur is up one spot to sixth, with Lorenzo Musetti and Ben Shelton also climbing one place each to seventh and eighth respectively.

Not playing in any current events, Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner remain in first and second place respectively.

Zverev is third, Novak Djokovic is fourth and Auger-Aliassime is fifth, with Jack Draper completing the top 10 in 10th despite his ongoing injury struggles.

Coco Gauff and Amanda Anisimova swap rankings on the WTA Tour

It isn’t just the ATP Tour that has changed at the very start of the 2026 season, with the WTA Tour also updating its rankings.

Conversely, however, there is just one update, with Amanda Anisimova overtaking Coco Gauff in the world rankings.

Anisimova is the new world number three and the new American number one, with Gauff slipping one place to fourth on the WTA Tour.

Where will Coco Gauff be ranked at the end of the 2026 season?
