Emma Raducanu has had an up-and-down season on the WTA Tour this year, which ended early due to illness.
The British number one suffered several early exits early on in 2025, winning just one match from the first six tournaments she appeared at before appointing Andy Murray‘s former coach Mark Petchey.
With Petchey in her corner, she enjoyed a lengthy campaign at the Miami Open, reaching the quarterfinals before falling to Jessica Pegula.

The two ultimately parted ways before the Cincinnati Open after an indifferent spell together, before Raducanu hired Francis Roig, who previously worked with Rafael Nadal.
Raducanu did not win a title this year and is yet to lift a WTA trophy since her triumph at the 2021 US Open, but she has still managed to earn plenty of prize money since January.

Emma Raducanu’s prize money earnings during the 2025 season
In 2025, Raducanu recorded two quarterfinal finishes and one semifinal placement, which she clinched at the Washington Open.
Her best campaign in D.C. saw her rake in $71,205 (US Dollars), which was much less than her earnings at Grand Slams this year.
Though she did not make it past the third round at a major, Raducanu made nearly three-quarters of a million in her runs at the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open.
- Australian Open Third Round Finish: $182,000
- Roland Garros Second Round Finish: $124,251
- Wimbledon Third Round Finish: $200,005
- US Open Third Round Finish: $237,000
In total, this year, Raducanu has earned $1,450,476 in prize money from WTA Tour-level events, which brings her career earnings tally up to $5,957,378.
A large portion of her career total was claimed at the 2021 US Open, where she came through qualifying and went on to secure a maiden Grand Slam title.
Her prize money for emerging victorious at Flushing Meadows that year was a grand total of $2,500,000, which is greater than the sum of her 2025 earnings overall.

Emma Raducanu’s last appearance in 2025
Raducanu withdrew from the final two WTA events of the year as she continued to battle with an illness she had been struggling with.
She was set to feature at the Pan Pacific Open and the Hong Kong Tennis Open to conclude the Asian swing.
Ultimately, Raducanu’s last appearance at a tour-level competition in 2025 came at the Ningbo Open, where she lost to Zhu Lin in her opening match.
Before the 2026 season begins, Raducanu is scheduled to play at two exhibition events in New Jersey and Miami during December.
The 23-year-old has already agreed with new coach Roig that they will continue working together next year.
