Daniil Medvedev tumbled out of the opening round of the inaugural Six Kings Slam as he lost to Jannik Sinner.

Sinner beat Medvedev 6-0, 6-3 in their quarter-final clash in Riyadh, setting up a semi-final with Novak Djokovic.

It is a repeat of the Shanghai Masters final, where Djokovic admitted to being inferior to Sinner as the Italian came out on top.

Sinner has impressed Greg Rusedski this season, with that success in Shanghai representing his seventh title of 2024.

And the Italian, who is currently world number one, is showing no signs of slowing down as the ATP Finals approach.

But money was the main concern during their latest clash, with the Russian undoubtedly leaving the venue delighted despite the loss.

Their rivalry is certain to continue for many years to come, with Medvedev set to have plenty more chances to overcome Sinner.
