There are only two senior British players still competing at the 2024 French Open.
The second Grand Slam of the season is now entering the closing stages, with just the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals left to go.
British tennis fans would have hoped for better performances from the likes of singles players Andy Murray, Cameron Norrie and Katie Boulter, who all exited at the earliest opportunity.
However, they at least have two doubles players to cheer for in the latter rounds.

Neal Skupski
Neal Skupski is a Liverpool-born tennis player who predominantly plays doubles, having never been higher than 932 in the singles world rankings.
As well as being a three-time Wimbledon champion, one of Neal’s career highlights was winning the 2021 Mexican Open alongside his brother, Ken.
Neal Skupski’s Road To The Quarter-Final
Skupski and his partner, Desirae Krawczyk, have made it to the quarter-finals of the Mixed Doubles tournament.
The pair won their first-round match at Roland Garros against Gonzalo Escobar and Shuko Aoyama in straight sets.
They then edged out all-British duo Salisbury and Heather Watson in a very close contest, 6-1, 5-7, 10-7.
Skupski and Krawczyk now face Marcelo Arevalo and Zhang Shuai for a place in the semi-final.
It should be noted that Skupski also entered the Men’s Doubles competition, alongside German Andreas Mies, but the twelfth-seeded pair lost in the first round to Tomas Machac and Zhang Zhizhen.
Joe Salisbury
Joe Salisbury is a six-time Grand Slam champion, competing in the men’s and mixed doubles disciplines.
The 32-year-old, whose highest singles ranking was 559 in October 2015, has earned over £4 million in his playing career.
Joe Salisbury’s Road To The Quarter-Final
Four-time US Open winner Salisbury and his playing partner, Rajeev Ram, will take on Italians Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori in the quarter-final of the Men’s Doubles competition.
The pair beat Ariel Bahar and Adam Pavlasek in the first round, followed by Aleksandr Nedovyesov and Gonzalo Escobar in the second.
While their toughest match of the tournament to date came against former singles world number 10 Lucas Pouille and his partner, Gregoire Barrere, in the third round.
As mentioned earlier, Salisbury also tried his luck at the Mixed Doubles but was knocked out by Skupski and Krawczyk.
