Grigor Dimitrov saw his Miami Open campaign come to an end after suffering a defeat to Belgian star Raphael Collignon.
The Bulgarian fell in three sets to Collignon in the first round, 6-7, 6-4, 6-7, recording his worst finish at the ATP Masters 1000 event since 2011.
Dimitrov has won just two matches this season and has now lost six, having crashed out in the early stages of several tournaments.

Dimitrov reached a career-high ranking of world number three back in 2017, the season he won both the Cincinnati Open and the ATP Finals.
Since then, he has been in and out of the top ten, but after suffering a pectoral injury at Wimbledon last year, his ranking has dropped quickly.

Raphael Collignon reacts to beating Grigor Dimitrov in Miami
Reacting in his on-court interview after beating Dimitrov and claiming the first Masters win of his career, Collignon said: “It’s great.
“It’s only my second time playing in a main draw of a Masters 1,000. I played Indian Wells, and now it’s my second, so I’m very happy because it’s a very famous tournament here.
“I watched this tournament when I was a kid, so it’s good for me to win here, and I’m very proud of it.
“It was tough for me in the return because Grigor is an unbelievable server, I couldn’t find much of the solution, but I knew at 5-4 with such a tough match that it’s going to be very difficult for him to close because it’s nervy, you know.
“I tried to stay there, and I got the break, a bit lucky, and then I don’t know how I saved this match point.
“I know I’m very good in defence, you know, but I try just to put the ball in the court, and it paid off, very good.”
In the next round, Collignon will take on the 13th seed Flavio Cobolli.
