Jannik Sinner is now one win away from making history after reaching the final of the Miami Open.
Sinner beat Alexander Zverev to advance to the championship match of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament, where he will take on Jiri Lehecka.
The Italian has been simply unstoppable recently, having not dropped a set since his loss at the Qatar Open to Jakub Mensik.
Who are you backing to complete the sunshine double?
Or do you think both Sabalenka and Sinner will win the Miami Open?
He clinched the Indian Wells Open title, and now has the chance to become the eighth man ever to complete the ‘Sunshine Double’ by adding another Miami crown to his tally.
Amid his recent dominance, teenage star Joao Fonseca said Sinner plays like a ‘robot’, a comment that has received some backlash.

Greg Rusedski does not think Jannik Sinner plays like a robot
Former US Open finalist Greg Rusedski touched on Fonseca’s comments, and he disagreed with the Brazilian.
Speaking in an episode of ‘Off Court with Greg‘, Rusedski said of Sinner: ‘People are saying he’s a little bit boring.
“They talked about it in the conversation that he’s a little bit robotic. I don’t see it. I look at him, he’s continually developing his game.
Who is the better hard court player – Carlos Alcaraz or Jannik Sinner?
“He’s added the drop shot. He’s willing to come forward. He’s becoming a better player. So for me, Sinner is magnificent and great for the sport.
“You have two contrasting personalities — either you’re an Alcaraz fan, or you’re a Sinner fan.”

Greg Rusedski says Jannik Sinner is Novak Djokovic 2.0
Rusedski continued: “He’s got a rock-solid mind. He has an incredible mindset because remember last year when he went through all that difficulty, where he had the drug case, where he got contaminated and had to serve a three-month ban.
“He said, look, I only respect the people that I respect. I only listen to the people around me, and I don’t worry about all the noise around me. So mentally, the guy is so focused. He’s in the zone.
“Physically, he’s a great athlete. He gets stronger all the time. Diet, nutrition, flexibility, losing weight, solid in the corners — get that combination, and it is ruthless.
“I call him Novak Djokovic 2.0. He does everything Novak does, but a little bit stronger at the moment. But also, he’s a lot younger, so it’s a lot easier for him to do that, even though Djokovic beat him in the Australian Open.”
Should Sinner beat Lehecka in the Miami Open final, he will claim his seventh ATP Masters 1000 title, and 26th overall.
