French Open 2025 Full Main Draw: Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff and Iga Świątek’s first-round matches announced

With the 124th edition of the French Open set to start on Sunday, 25 May, the main draw has just been released.

The likes of Aryna Sabalenka, Coco Gauff, Iga Świątek, and Jessica Pegula will return to the clay in the coming weeks.

Sabalenka is currently ranked world No. 1 and has had a strong clay-court season, entering the tournament as the top seed.

The defending champion and a four-time French Open winner, Świątek has slipped to world number five but can never be discounted at Roland Garros, despite a mixed clay-court swing leading up to the tournament.

America has two big hopes in the draw. Gauff has shown good form on clay, reaching the Italian Open final, while Jessica Pegula will also be aiming for a deep run at Roland Garros.

At the French Open 2025, the leading women will be focused on navigating their opening matches successfully as they prepare for the more significant challenges to come.
