Nick Kyrgios continues to be criticised for the ‘Battle of the Sexes’ match even a week later.
Kyrgios beat Aryna Sabalenka in the ‘Battle of the Sexes’ match in Dubai last week.
Opinions were widely divided surrounding this match, with both Sabalenka and Kyrgios receiving a lot of criticism for taking part in the event.
The backlash for Kyrgios in particular has continued, with a former top 30 WTA player now slamming the Australian.

Sarah Pitkowski heavily criticises Nick Kyrgios’ behavior
Kyrgios beat Sabalenka, 6-3 6-3, in Dubai, and he has now been highly criticised by former world number 29 Sarah Pitkowski.
When speaking on the RMC’s ‘Les Grandes Gueules du Sport’ show, Pitkowski slammed Kyrgios for his behavior and called him ‘disrespectful’ for the way he competed against Sabalenka.
“In this entertainment that was created, Nick Kyrgios’s attitude and behavior were absolutely detestable; the guy is detestable,” said Pitkowski. “He’s so arrogant, it’s the worst.
“He’s doing more harm to men’s tennis than Sabalenka, who’s trying to play seriously against a pathetic guy who’s just trying to revive his career when all he does is provoke people.
“But if you don’t want to play tennis, to fly, if it bothers you, you stay in Australia and quit! He was so nonchalant that it’s even disrespectful to those who put money into these kinds of shows. I don’t even understand how they could have chosen him.”
