Felix Auger-Aliassime booked his place in the final four of the ATP Finals after coming out on top against Alexander Zverev in his final group stage match.
Following Jannik Sinner’s win over Ben Shelton, Auger-Aliassime and Zverev took centre stage to fight for a spot in the knockout stages of the year-end tournament.
The Canadian, who beat Shelton to claim his first win, earned a second consecutive victory in Turin against the world number three, overcoming him in straight sets.

He will now go toe-to-toe with Carlos Alcaraz in the semifinals, whom he has not managed to defeat since 2022.
While his ATP Finals campaign may come to an end against the Spaniard, Auger-Aliassime will leave the event having made history for his country.
Felix Auger-Aliassime makes Canadian history at the ATP Finals
With his triumph over Zverev, Auger-Aliassime finally hit the 50-win mark for the season, with a year record of 50 wins and 23 losses.
He became the first Canadian in the Open Era to tally multiple 50-win seasons at ATP level, following his breakthrough 2022 campaign, where he went 60-27.
He struggled to replicate his remarkable 2022 season in the two years that followed.
- 2022: 60 wins, 27 losses
- 2023: 23 wins, 19 losses
- 2024: 32 wins, 25 losses
- 2025: 50 wins, 23 losses
Now, however, the 25-year-old appears to be back to his very best, and will have the chance to finish the season on 52 wins, should he go all the way at the ATP Finals.
Do you think Carlos Alcaraz will win the ATP Finals?
Felix Auger-Aliassime’s three ATP titles this season
Auger-Aliassime has made five finals this year and came out on top in three of them to secure a treble of tour-level crowns in 2025.
His first title of the season came at the Adelaide International in January, where he overcame the likes of Tommy Paul and Sebastian Korda to clinch the trophy.
Later that month, he entered an ATP 250 event in Montpellier, where he went all the way once again to win two of the first four events he appeared at in 2025.
| Event | Result |
| United Cup | Round Robin |
| Adelaide | Champion |
| Australian Open | Second Round |
| Montpellier | Champion |
It was not until October, however, that he would claim his third, which he managed on the indoor hard-courts in Brussels.
If Auger-Aliassime wins the ATP Finals, he will match his season-best title tally of four from 2022.
