Carlos Alcaraz will still be celebrating his US Open success, having overcome Jannik Sinner in the final at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Alcaraz defeated the defending champion 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, and also took his number one spot in the ATP rankings.

Tennis legend Martina Navratilova was really impressed by Alcaraz, who produced a ruthless two-hour, 42-minute victory.

He’s now a 23-time champion on the ATP Tour at the age of 22, with six of his titles having arrived at Grand Slams.

Two of those successes have come at the US Open, with two coming at the French Open and two at Wimbledon.

Every tournament Carlos Alcaraz plans to play for the rest of the year

Alcaraz has won seven titles in 2025 alone, but that tally could be extended given his schedule for the rest of the year.

He had planned to play next at the Davis Cup qualifiers, but the ATP star has withdrawn from Spain’s tie against Denmark.

But he has committed to the Laver Cup, which is set to be followed by appearances in Tokyo and Shanghai, which are ATP 500 and ATP Masters 1000 events respectively.

Alcaraz is also scheduled to play in the Six Kings Slam exhibition tournament, before another ATP Masters 1000 in Paris.

And his individual season is set to conclude at the ATP Finals, but he could also take on the Davis Cup Finals if Spain manages to qualify.

What ATP titles has Carlos Alcaraz won in 2025 after his US Open success?

Alcaraz continues to go from strength to strength, and will likely want to keep pushing despite his stunning success in 2025.

His seven titles so far are, however, one behind Sinner’s eight from 2024, but it is the Spaniard who boasts the bragging rights everywhere else.

He has 23 titles compared to Sinner’s 20, while the Spaniard has now extended his win-loss record over the Italian to 10-5.

But the US Open runner-up is certain to have plenty more opportunities for revenge in the very near future.

That scenario is set to play out given their superb abilities, and indeed the very busy schedule that still remains in 2025.

But first, Alcaraz is certain to take a well-earned break after New York, even though his latest US Open run was by no means the most arduous, with only Sinner taking a set off him the entire tournament.
