Emma Raducanu has received some advice after a difficult start to the 2026 season.
Raducanu split from Francisco Roig after the Australian Open, after working together for just six months.
This was the Briton’s seventh different coach since winning the US Open in 2021, with Raducanu stating that she is not actively looking for a full-time coach after having Mark Petchey and Alexis Canter help her at recent tournaments.
Raducanu has reached one WTA Final this year, but her results since then have sparked some concern about her future, with former Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli now offering some advice to the world number 28.

Marion Bartoli tells Emma Raducanu she needs to have a long-term coach
Since reaching the final of the Transylvania Open last month, Raducanu has only won one of her last four matches.
Raducanu has been struggling with illness during this time, with the continuing symptoms subsequently causing her to withdraw from the Miami Open.
Will Emma Raducanu ever win another Grand Slam title?
When assessing Raducanu’s current situation, Bartoli told Sky Sports that she thinks the 2021 US Open champion should have a more stable coaching team like world number one Aryna Sabalenka if she wants to improve.
“For Emma to keep changing coaches is a difficult topic because you need to have some sort of stability,” said Bartoli. “When you look at the coaching system, Sabalenka has had the same coach for such a long period of time and I think for Emma it’s about trying to find the right fit!
“I do strongly believe she will need to find someone she can trust for a long period of time if she wants to improve.”
Sabalenka has lots of key figures in her team, but her main coach Anton Dubrov has been the leading figure since 2020, helping the Belarusian win all four of her Grand Slam titles.
Emma Raducanu should make Andy Murray her next coach
Do you think this is a possibility?
Where is Emma Raducanu playing next?
Raducanu has not played since her heavy defeat to Amanda Anisimova at Indian Wells, as she now turns her attention to the clay court season.
Clay has not been the best surface for Raducanu, but she did show improved form last year after reaching the fourth round of the Italian Open.
However, Raducanu is yet to surpass the second round of Roland Garros, having suffered a heavy defeat at this stage to Iga Swiatek last year.
