Ahead of the US Open, Emma Raducanu, who will play Sofia Kenin in the first round, appeared in a Sky Sports social media video and named Djokovic as the greatest of all time.
“In my opinion, the Tennis Goat is Novak Djokovic, just for his Pure repeatable qualities”,” the former British number one said.

As Djokovic prepares for another US Open campaign, Raducanu is looking forward to play at Flushing Meadows for the first time since 2022.
The Brit missed last year’s event due to injury and she enters the 2024 tournament following a solid summer on the grass and a quarter-final appearance in Washington D.C.
Now completely healthy and with matches under her belt, Raducanu is in position to have a strong US Open and she will use her 2021 success to further motivate her.
“Yeah, I feel a lot better. I feel very proud when I come here,” Raducanu told reporters. “Walking past my photo every day, walking past my name on the trophy every day … I think that’s such an epic achievement.
“For me, coming back here now I come back with such a different outlook and just joy and proudness and it inspires me to want to do more.”
