Elena Rybakina has returned to winning ways on the WTA Tour after securing the title at the Ningbo Open.
Rybakina is now a two-time winner on the WTA Tour in 2025 following her Strasbourg success, while she boasts 10 titles in her career so far.
She came from behind to defeat Ekaterina Alexandrova 3-6, 6-0, 6-2 in the final of the Ningbo Open, where Rybakina was the sixth seed.
Alexandrova praised Rybakina before their match, with the champion now rising two spots in the WTA rankings to seventh.
The runner-up meanwhile remains in 10th place following her run to the final, while Rybakina has improved her WTA Finals chances by lifting the trophy in China.
