Swiatek has six major crowns to her name, having won four trophies at Roland Garros, and one at both Wimbledon and the US Open.

Speaking on Tennis Channel, Gilbert and American WTA star Danielle Collins played a game of ‘bank or shank’, where they were given a scenario and they had to predict whether it will happen (bank) or not (shank).
When asked if they think world number one Aryna Sabalenka and Swiatek will win 10 or more Grand Slams, the two had different opinions.
“I am going to shank on Sabalenka getting to 10,” said Gilbert, who coached Gauff from 2023 to 2024.

“That means she would have to win six more. Swiatek is at six already, is much younger. I feel like four is a lot closer. She will win two or three more Frenches. So I would bank on that one.”
Collins responded: “I am banking on both of them. I think both of them have the games to keep winning Grand Slams.
“I don’t care about Sabalenka’s age at this point, she is going to get wiser, smarter and more experience under her belt, so I think we can definitely count on her getting to double digits in the Slam count.
“Swiatek, when she is playing her best tennis, and is in a good mental head space, nothing is impossible. So I think that is a no brainer. I think she will get to double digits as well.”

Swiatek Enjoyed four strong campaigns at Grand Slams last year, the first of which was a semifinal run at the Australian Open.
She advanced to the final four in Melbourne, but was ultimately knocked out by eventual champion Madison Keys.
At Roland Garros, Swiatek was bidding to win her fourth crown in a row, but her title defence came to an end in the semifinals when she was beaten by Sabalenka.

Soon after, Swiatek bounced back at Wimbledon and emerged victorious at the All England Club for the very first time to claim a sixth major.
The young star only went as far as the quarterfinals at the US Open, where she lost to Amanda Anisimova.
So far in 2026, Swiatek has recorded another quarterfinal finish by advancing to the last eight Down Under.
