Coco Gauff has continued her superb career so far by reaching the French Open final, where she meets Aryna Sabalenka.
Rennae Stubbs thinks Gauff must improve her first serve percentage against Sabalenka, with the duo set to meet for the 11th time.
They have five wins each from their 10 WTA Tour matches so far, which includes a 1-1 record at Grand Slam events.
Tim Henman has labelled Gauff a ‘great champion’ amid her superb run at the French Open, which will conclude on Saturday.
And Gauff has now drawn huge praise from tennis fans ahead of her clash with Sabalenka, who is into her first final in Paris.

Coco Gauff praised for statement before French Open final vs Aryna Sabalenka
Gauff was asked in her latest press conference about managing such an occasion, to which she replied: “I think just realising how minuscule it is. Everyone is dealing with way bigger things in life than losing a final.
“Also realising how many players wanted to be in this position. I’m sure there are hundreds of players that would kill to win or lose a final. So just knowing that makes me realise how lucky and privileged I am to be in this position.”

One tennis supporter was immediately impressed by the 21-year-old, writing on X: “What an incredible answer.”
A second commented: “Gauff was raised well,” with a third saying: “Way too mature for a 21 year old. GGs Coco.”
A fourth noted: “What a wise young champion (whether she wins or not),” with a fifth saying: “So mature. A great perspective.”

Gauff’s very mature and admirable comments certainly didn’t end there, with the American continuing: “At first I thought it’d be the end of the world if I lost. And you know, the sun still rose the next day. So knowing regardless of the result, the sun will still rise.
“Especially being in a city like Paris, I was walking around the next day and no one knew that I lost. No one cared.
“Some people know who I am but not everyone. Just realising how big the moment seems in our lives is not as big in the grand scheme of things.”
She is certainly right in saying that many other players would love to be in such a position, with Gauff well aware of the feeling given she just reached and lost back-to-back finals in Madrid and Rome.
But players would also love to have her positive and refreshing attitude, which is truly remarkable for someone who is just 21.
She will, of course, be desperate to beat Sabalenka, but win or lose she is clearly grateful for her current path.
Such an attitude has already helped her to nine WTA titles, including a 2023 US Open final triumph over Sabalenka.
