Coco Gauff has enjoyed a superb career so far, with the American aiming to continue that at the French Open.
Venus Williams says Gauff is too hard on herself at times, with the latter already on nine WTA Tour titles at the age of 21.
Her honours list includes the 2023 US Open title, when Gauff defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final at the age of just 19.
She is also a WTA Finals champion, having also triumphed at the likes of Cincinnati, Washington DC and Beijing.
Jim Courier thinks Gauff needs to raise her game, although it is only Sabalenka who sits above the American in the WTA rankings.

Coco Gauff picks the top three victories over her career so far
She is fully focused on French Open success, but the world number two was challenged by John Isner on Bleacher Report to pick the top three wins of her career.
She said: “WTA Finals last year against Qinwen [Zheng]. I would have to say Venus [Williams] at Wimbledon in 2019.
“Then I could go with US Open win, just because it was US Open. But honourable mention I would put the Rome one. Three hours and 30 minute match against Qinwen.”
Venus Williams and Aryna Sabalenka among Coco Gauff career upsets
Gauff has very recent memories of that mammoth battle against Zheng in Rome, which took place earlier this month.
The hugely entertaining semi-final clash blew away the Italian Open fans, with the American finally triumphing 7-6(7-3), 4-6, 7-6(7-4).

In a meeting that ended after midnight in the Italian capital, Gauff came from 5-3 down in the last set to win a final-set tie-break.
That was a repeat of her WTA Finals win over the same opponent, when the American beat Zheng 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(7-2) in Riyadh.
And it was at the other stage of her relatively brief career when Gauff shocked legendary figure Williams at Wimbledon.
The former beat the latter 6-4, 6-4 in her first Grand Slam main draw appearance, with Gauff thanking Williams at the net immediately after the huge upset.
| Result | Year | Tournament | Surface | Opponent | Score |
| Loss | 2022 | French Open | Clay | Iga Swiatek | 1–6, 3–6 |
| Win | 2023 | US Open | Hard | Aryna Sabalenka | 2–6, 6–3, 6–2 |
| Win | 2025 | French Open | Clay | Aryna Sabalenka | 6–7(5–7), 6–2, 6–4 |

But perhaps the 2023 US Open final truly sits at the top of the pile for the American, in which the teenager overcame the soon-to-be world number one Sabalenka.
Having lost the 2022 French Open final to Iga Swiatek, she recovered to produce a simply stunning 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 comeback victory at Flushing Meadows.
