Chris Evert was left stunned by what Novak Djokovic and other players have decided to do ahead of the US Open.
There is plenty of buzz and excitement around New York as the final Grand Slam of the season is set to commence on Monday.
The draw has now been made and the players are gearing up to go in pursuit of lifting the prestigious trophy at Flushing Meadows.
But there is one thing in particular that has become among players before tournaments which has left Chris Evert completely baffled.

Over the years the top tennis players began practising with one another before tournament, especially at the Grand Slams.
For example, Djokovic practiced with Jannik Sinner ahead of Wimbledon, and they are two of the world’s top two players.
On Thursday the 24-time Grand Slam champion had a session with Alexander Zverev and they looked to fine-tune their games ahead of the US Open.
Evert, who is a 18-time major-winner, is surprised by the amount of top players that practice with one another before tournaments, and stated it did not happen during her career.
“Can I just say one thing, in my day none of the top players practiced together,” Evert told ESPN. “If Martina asked me to practice, I would have gone no, no, no! I don’t want you to know my game, babe.
“It’s unbelievable. It’s admirable they are getting out and playing sets in practice. It’s like, don’t you want to have a bit of mystery about your game?”

After Djokovic lost to Carlos Alcaraz in the Wimbledon final, he raised his level to defeat the Spaniard in the Olympic final.
Fresh off his latest triumph, the 37-year-old looks ready to commence his mission to win his first Grand Slam of the year.
He will commence his US Open campaign against Moldova’s Radu Albot and cannot face Alcaraz or Sinner until the final.
Should Djokovic win the US Open it will be his 25th Grand Slam and fifth title in New York, equalling the record shared by Roger Federer and Pete Sampras.
Should Djokovic not succeed in New York, it will be the first time since 2017 that he will go through an entire season without winning a Grand Slam.
