When Andy Murray retired, Great British tennis fans might have been forgiven for wondering what comes next. Enter Jack Draper.

The London-born star has just enjoyed arguably the biggest win of his career by sending Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz packing at Indian Wells.

Draper won the semi-final against Alcaraz in three sets, setting up a final with Holger Rune later on Sunday.

It’s never an easy thing to do when it comes to toppling Alcaraz, with the Spaniard very much the main man with Jannik Sinner serving his ban.

Draper will now go in search of his biggest career win and he’s already defeated Taylor Fritz in reaching the final.

It would appear as though Alcaraz is already plotting the next steps after his defeat at Indian Wells to Draper.

He’s sent a message to the English star on social media, with the Spanish sensation seemingly in good spirits.

He said: “Can’t wait for the revenge. Good luck in the final.”

Draper will face Rune hoping to claim the biggest ATP 1000 title of his career and prove to many that he is capable of winning the game’s biggest titles.

Rennae Stubbs thinks Draper will win a big title

With the sun starting to pop its head out, it won’t be long before attention turns towards Wimbledon.

After this latest win for Draper, Stubbs has made a bold prediction, claiming on social media that the English-born performer will win Wimbledon.

With Sinner and Alcaraz set to be the main man at SW19 it’s hard to imagine Draper going all the way this year but he will give it a good go nonetheless.

Draper has all of the tools to go deep at Wimbledon and from a British perspective the hope will be that he can ruffle some feathers in the summer.
