Carlos Alcaraz is into yet another final in 2024, with the Spaniard seeking the Six Kings Slam title in Riyadh.

Alcaraz beat Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals of the Six Kings Slam, setting up another final with Jannik Sinner.

Sinner blew Daniil Medvedev away in their quarter-final clash, before the Italian won his semi-final meeting with Novak Djokovic.

Alcaraz meanwhile overcame Holger Rune in his first match in Riyadh, with the Spaniard now in for a repeat of the China Open final.

He emerged victorious from that match with Sinner in Beijing earlier this month, and will be keen for a similar outcome in Saudi Arabia.

But of course it will not be easy, with the current world number two well aware of just how lethal the number one can be on the court.

Speaking on Sky Sports Tennis, Alcaraz said of Sinner: “He is the best player in the world right now, at least for me.

“Playing Jannik is a really big challenge. Seeing the year he is having and doing is amazing. It is going to be a really tough challenge for me.

“I played really good battles and tough ones, so I am going to expect a difficult and good match. I think the people are going to enjoy that match.

“I am going to try my best and beat him and win the tournament. Let’s see on Saturday, it’s not going to be easy.”

What is the head-to-head record between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz?

Young stars Sinner and Alcaraz have dominated the ATP Tour this season, with the duo sharing the four Grand Slams.

The former won at the start and end of the major season at the Australian Open and US Open, with the latter victorious this summer at the French Open and Wimbledon.

But Sinner leads the way in terms of titles, having won seven tour-level titles in 2024 compared to Alcaraz’s four.

It is, however, the Spaniard who holds the bragging rights in terms of their head-to-head record, with six wins to the Italian’s four.

But the next encounter in their enthralling rivalry will not be added, with the Six Kings Slam unaffiliated with the ATP Tour.
