Carlos Alcaraz has now given his verdict on the upcoming Wimbledon final, upon learning that his opponent will once again be Jannik Sinner.
Sunday will see these two young titans of the sport reignite their great rivalry, just over a month after they stunned in the French Open final.
There, the top two-ranked players in the world proved why they were just that, in a clash that sent shockwaves around the sporting world.
Everybody stopped to watch history unfold, and it is expected that the same will happen again later this weekend.
Carlos Alcaraz will certainly be expecting a stern test, and praised Jannik Sinner in his post-match press conference.

Having beaten Taylor Fritz in a tough four-set encounter, it should come as no surprise that Sinner swiftly became the main topic of conversation.
After all, everybody wanted to know what his thoughts were on once again facing the 23-year-old at Wimbledon.

First reviewing tonight’s emphatic win over Novak Djokovic, Alcaraz admitted: “But the level that Jannik’s playing, it’s really high as always. I think he doesn’t get down, you know, his level in the matches. So it’s unbelievable what he can do on a tennis court.
“But yeah, let’s see, but you know that man, that match surprised me a little bit.
“We are still really young, so I just hope that a lot of things, or just to keep doing the right things, you know, for the next, I don’t know, five, ten years, just to be, you know, able to be at the same table as the those players.”
He was then asked about that already infamous French Open final, to which he replied: “I didn’t watch it again. Just a few clips, to be honest. A few points. Not that much. But I’m still thinking about that moment sometimes.
“It was probably the best… not probably, it was the best match I’ve ever played so far. I’m not surprised he just pushed me to the limit. I expect that on Sunday. To be at the limit. To be on the line. It’s gonna be a great final. I’m just excited about it. I just hope not to be 5 and a half hours on court again. If I have to, I will.”
Carlos Alcaraz will have to be at his best to beat Jannik Sinner
Alcaraz already seems well aware of the magnitude of Sunday’s task.
After all, Sinner’s injury worries aside, his opponent has looked imperious.
Of course, people will point to his quarter-final clash with Grigor Dimitrov, where he likely would have exited were it not for the Bulgarian’s cruel and untimely injury.

But since then, he has brushed aside an in-form Ben Shelton and crushed Novak Djokovic with frightening ease.
Alcaraz’s task in Paris was difficult, but with even more time on the court for Sinner, this will likely be the most dangerous form of the world number one that he has ever faced.
