Carlos Alcaraz has won six Grand Slam titles already at the age of 22, equalling the tallies of Boris Becker and Stefan Edberg.
He has clinched two Roland Garros titles, two Wimbledon championships, and a pair of US Open crowns over the last three years.
Just the Australian Open eludes Alcaraz, with the Spaniard having only gone as far as the quarterfinals in Melbourne.

Should he continue to add two major titles to his name every year, as he has done in 2024 and 2025, he will be on track to match the totals of the ‘big three’, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.
Djokovic holds the record for the most Grand Slams on the men’s side with 24, a sum Alcaraz was recently asked if he could surpass.
Carlos Alcaraz discusses Novak Djokovic’s Grand Slam record
In an interview with ‘El Partidazo de Cope’, Alcaraz was asked if he could one day sit at the table with the ‘big three’ in major titles.
He responded: “That’s the goal. The goal at the end of my career. I can see that I can sit at the table with them and that people think I can.
Will Alex de Minaur ever crack the ATP top five?
“I think I can do it. I think if I thought I was not capable, there would be no goals, no ambition, no nothing, right?
“So I think that’s something important, to have goals, to have ambition, and I think that I can achieve that.”
Federer, Nadal and Djokovic are head and shoulders above the rest in the all-time Grand Slam titles list, with Pete Sampras trailing in fourth with 14.
| Grand Slam titles | Player (s) |
| 24 | Novak Djokovic |
| 22 | Rafael Nadal |
| 20 | Roger Federer |
| 14 | Pete Sampras |
| 12 | Roy Emerson |
| 11 | Rod Laver, Bjorn Borg |
| 10 | Bill Tilden |
Asked if he would be content with reaching 23 majors, but not surpassing Djokovic, Alcaraz replied: “Without thinking twice.
“In the end, we have to be realistic. Yes, I want to surpass 24, but we’re talking about 23. That’s a bit of a joke.”
Active players on the ATP Tour with the most Grand Slam titles
Alcaraz has the second-most Grand Slam titles of active players on the ATP Tour, trailing only Djokovic.
Below him is his rival, Jannik Sinner, who added a maiden Wimbledon trophy to his collection this year to bring his total up to four.
Only three other players currently playing professionally have won majors, one of whom is Stan Wawrinka, with the Swiss star securing three during a difficult era.
Daniil Medvedev picked up his sole Grand Slam title in 2021, when he defeated Djokovic to win the US Open.
Marin Cilic also has one, which, like Medvedev, he claimed by beating Djokovic in the final at Flushing Meadows.
