Carlos Alcaraz made a confident statement regarding how long he will be one of tennis’ best players.
Over the last two years the Spaniard quickly established himself as a force in the game at such a young age.
He defeated Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic back to back to win the Madrid Open in May 2022 and captured his first Grand Slam at the US Open four months later.
Since then the 21-year-old has been World number one and currently holds the Wimbledon and French Open titles.

Alcaraz already has multiple majors and Masters 1000 titles under his belt and experience playing against the game’s greatest players.
He is back in the World number two position and is hungry for more success in the game, and plans to be around for a long time to come.
“This smile, which they say is my trademark, there is no reason to lose it,” the Spaniard told reporters. “Why not take advantage of everything that is offered to us through this profession?”
“There is no reason why I wouldn’t feel comfortable on the circuit. So for me, another 15 years like this suits me very well.”

In his young career Alcaraz, who is unbeaten in Grand Slam finals, already has some impressive tennis records.
After winning the French Open he became the first and youngest man in the open era to win his first three Grand Slams on three different surfaces.
This is a record that was previously held by Rafael Nadal, Bjorn Borg, Jim Courier and Andre Agassi, who each achieved the feat at 22 years of age.
In 2023, Alcaraz’s success propelled him to the World number one ranking for the first time and in the process, he became the youngest man to achieve the feat.
