Carlos Alcaraz is back winning again at the French Open, with the defending champion already into the third round.
Alcaraz has been tipped to win the French Open once again, having beaten Alexander Zverev in the 2024 final.
That represents one of four Grand Slam titles for Alcaraz, who has also won the US Open once and Wimbledon twice.
Alcaraz is the second seed at this year’s French Open, having climbed to number two in the ATP rankings after winning the Italian Open earlier this month.
And that represents one of three titles in 2025 for the 22-year-old, who also triumphed in Rotterdam and Monte Carlo.

Carlos Alcaraz praised after his latest French Open win
He now meets Damir Dzumhur in round three at Roland Garros, having just knocked out Fabian Marozsan in round two.
But along with his efforts in the match, his post-match actions have now come under the spotlight, with Alcaraz praised for singing the famous French Open chant in his on-court interview.

Sharing her verdict on the Spaniard starting the chant, tennis legend Tracy Austin said on Tennis Channel: “So much charisma.
“There are so many champions who you think are so tied up. They get to the top of the game and they feel the pressure and all the commitments and even on court, Carlos when he hits a shot, he’s like wow.
“Sometimes he even can’t believe it. The joy that he brings I think we will appreciate that. It brings the fans to the tennis, I love it.”
‘Special’ Carlos Alcaraz told he is a ‘joy to watch’
The 2025 French Open hasn’t been entirely straightforward for the four-time Grand Slam champion, who beat Giulio Zeppieri in round one.
He secured a 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 win over the Italian, but was forced to battle hard to defeat Hungarian Marozsan 6-1, 4-6, 6-1, 6-2.

And another tricky test awaits, with his next opponent Dzumhur having just dumped out exciting French talent Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.
But Alcaraz is certain to continue having fun regardless of what plays out on the court, and that attitude has left former WTA number six Chanda Rubin really impressed.
She commented: “It’s special. That kind of moment to just be off the cuff that way and to be very comfortable doing it and to bring the fans in and the crowd in, it’s a joy to watch.
“We have a lot of fun with it and we are not out there playing and trying to win these matches on top of it. He just seems to not have a care in the world. We know that’s not actually the case, but it’s just what he exudes and it’s a lot of fun.”
