Carlos Alcaraz has won many of the biggest titles in tennis already at just 21-years-old, but there are still some that he is missing.

Alcaraz raised some questions about his future after losing his only match at the Miami Open to David Goffin.

This has led to some critics of the Spaniard, with Alcaraz defending himself ahead of the clay court season.

The world number three will kick-off his clay court season off at the Monte Carlo Masters, where Alcaraz is making only his second appearance in his career.

Alcaraz is seeking his first Monte Carlo win this year, at one of the few big tournaments that he is yet to lift the title.

Carlos Alcaraz names the three tournaments he dreams about winning

Alcaraz is a four-time Grand Slam champion already, having won two Wimbledon titles, one Roland Garros and one US Open.

This gave Alcaraz the opportunity to make history at the Australian Open earlier this year, as he attempted to become the youngest man in history to complete the Career Grand Slam.

However, this did not come to fruition after Alcaraz was beaten by Novak Djokovic, but he still has two more years to bid for history.

When speaking to GQ España, Alcaraz named the Australian Open alongside two other tournaments that he still dreams of winning.

“Fortunately, I have many dreams left to fulfill,” said Alcaraz. “Roland Garros and Wimbledon are coming up next. Next year, I’ll have another chance to win the Australian Open , which is the only Grand Slam I’m missing. The ATP Finals. The Davis Cup. There are so many.”

Despite not naming the event, an Olympic gold medal is also likely to be in his sights, after Alcaraz had a frustrating Games in Paris last year.

Carlos Alcaraz’s best result at the Australian Open, ATP Finals and Davis Cup

Alcaraz has won 17 titles so far in his career, with his most recent coming on the indoor hard courts of the Rotterdam Open.

The Australian Open is by far Alcaraz’s worst performing major tournament, as he is yet to surpass the quarter-final stage in his four appearances.

Despite earning enough ranking points to qualify for the ATP Finals three years in a row, Alcaraz has also not fared too well at the year-end tournament.

This is particularly relevant to the most recent edition, where Alcaraz exited the ATP Finals round-robin stage after winning only one of his three matches.

Alcaraz has represented Spain across six ties at the Davis Cup, winning six of his eight matches in singles and doubles.

However, during those appearances Spain have been unable to surpass the quarter-final stage.

The Murcian made his most recent appearance at the Davis Cup Finals last year, where Rafael Nadal retired in Malaga.

The next of those three events that Alcaraz will be able to win is the ATP Finals, and he is currently on track to qualify for a fourth consecutive year at fifth in the race.

However, he will first try and win another title that he has not before at the Monte Carlo Masters, where Alcaraz will begin his tournament against Francisco Cerundolo.
