Carlos Alcaraz is in red-hot form at the moment, and looks to be the favourite heading into Wimbledon, where he’ll aim for his third consecutive title.

Alcaraz won the Queen’s Club Championships for the second time in his career after defeating Jiri Lehecka in the final, extending his winning streak to 18 matches.

The five-time Grand Slam champion, who enjoyed an incredible clay season, has not struggled in his transition to grass and holds a 12-match winning streak on the surface dating back to Wimbledon last year.

Following his victory over Lehecka, Alcaraz has now achieved something on grass that only Roger Federer and Andy Murray have managed to do this century.

In his triumph, Alcaraz is now the third man this century to win multiple Queen’s and Wimbledon titles.

He joins Federer and Murray as the only players to achieve the feat since 2000.

Federer won eight Wimbledon titles and emerged victorious at the Halle Open ten times, while Murray won the famous trophy twice at the All England Club and has five Queen’s championships to his name.

Alcaraz, still only 22 years old, has won the two grass-court tournaments in London twice each, with all four victories coming within the last two years.
