Jannik Sinner has continued his stunning run of form into Roland Garros, where he is looking to complete the career Grand Slam.

And all signs point towards the Italian top seed doing exactly that, largely thanks to his fantastic results in the 2026 season.

ATP number one Sinner entered the Grand Slam with 36 wins and just two losses to his name, with that phenomenal form helping him clinch five titles.

And he’s already off to winning ways at Roland Garros, winning his opening match 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 against Clement Tabur.

The simply sensational run has certainly caught the eye of tennis legend Boris Becker, who believes his serve sets him apart from the rest of the ATP Tour.

Jannik Sinner is now a bigger favorite to win Roland Garros than Rafael Nadal ever was

Boris Becker thinks Jannik Sinner keeps winning because of his serve

As quoted by TNT Sports, Becker said: “Last year his serve was good; this year he is the best server in the world – that is the reason he keeps winning.

“It is not the groundstrokes, it is the serve.”

And adding his verdict, fellow legend Mats Wilander noted: “Novak Djokovic is the same, they are so precise with their serves.

“He has found the timing and has the confidence.

“It is pretty incredible the serve profile he has these days, he has one of the best serves in the game.

“Just like Djokovic, they are not the hardest but they are well placed.”

How Jannik Sinner leads the best servers on the ATP Tour

Perhaps unsurprisingly, it is Sinner who is leading the way for serving on the ATP Tour.

As per the ATP’s 52-week stats, the Italian sits at the very top of the pile for his serve rating, with Djokovic incidentally in ninth place.

Both players are now fully focused on Roland Garros, where Djokovic set up a round two clash with Valentin Royer after knocking out Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard.

Meanwhile top seed Sinner will take on Juan Manuel Cerundolo in round two in Paris, where his fierce rival Carlos Alcaraz is not competing because of a wrist injury.

The Spaniard, who will also miss Wimbledon, is one spot ahead of Djokovic in the current serving stats.
