Barbora Krejcikova is a doubles specialist, but the Czech star has now proven her worth in singles at Wimbledon.
The world number 32 has been hugely impressive at SW19 this month, following in the footsteps of many compatriots.
The nation has a proud history at the iconic tournament, with Krejcikova now the fifth Czech player to reach a Wimbledon final in the Open era.
Just last year, Marketa Vondrousova shocked Tunisian ace Ons Jabeur to lift the famous trophy at the All England Club.
Krejcikova has many idols in women’s tennis, but the 2021 French Open champion has now revealed her love for stars in the men’s game.

Barbora Krejcikova picks between Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic
Having decided to carry out a Q&A on X, the Wimbledon finalist was asked by one fan: “Rafa, Novak or Roger? Who’s your favourite and why?”
She replied: “Rafa and Roger. Don’t make me choose. I love Roger’s grace and Rafa’s fighting spirit.”
Will Novak Djokovic extend his Grand Slam titles lead at Wimbledon?
The big three in men’s tennis have enjoyed phenomenal success throughout their careers, with Federer of course no longer playing.
But he remains at the very top of the leaderboard for Wimbledon titles in the Open Era with eight, one ahead of Djokovic.
The Serbian is, however, top of the all-time Grand Slam titles list with 24, two ahead of Nadal and four ahead of Federer.
He now has the chance to extend his lead, but Djokovic is predicting a ‘huge battle’ against Carlos Alcaraz on Centre Court.
The Spaniard already boasts three Grand Slam titles in his career, with John McEnroe saying Alcaraz is better at 21 than Federer, Nadal and Djokovic were.
