ATP Tour world No1 Sinner made history with his fourth-round victory over Holger Rune this Monday as the Italian took a 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 win. In doing so, Sinner became the youngest man to win 18 straight Grand Slam fixtures on hard courts since John McEnroe back in 1981.
Now, Sinner must beat De Minaur in the headline tie on day 11 of the 2025 Australian Open for a place in the semi-finals. The winner of the other quarter-final encounter on day 11 on the Rod Laver Arena between Ben Shelton and Lorenzo Sonego will await the victor, as well.
