Aryna Sabalenka is enjoying a well-deserved break after another stunning season, which she has ended as world number one.
She last played earlier this month at the WTA Finals, where her run came to an end in the final against Elena Rybakina.
Sabalenka loved the WTA Finals despite the heartbreak, where she fell just short of capturing a fifth title in 2025.
The Belarusian instead won titles in Brisbane, Miami, Madrid and at the US Open, her fourth career Grand Slam success.
Sabalenka also enjoyed superb doubles Grand Slam success before her singles victories, clinching titles at the US Open and Australian Open.

Aryna Sabalenka picks the best achievement of her career so far
The WTA number one has now shared her verdict on the feat that tops the pile, having been asked about her greatest career highlight so far by Vogue Arabia.
She replied: “I would have to say winning my four Grand Slams. To win both the Australian Open and the US Open twice is definitely a highlight.
“I am also so proud to have stayed world number one for a full year. It is an accomplishment I’ve always dreamt of, and to see it come true is humbling for me.”

Aryna Sabalenka shares how she got into tennis ‘by accident’
Sabalenka has achieved phenomenal success so far, which is made even more remarkable given her start in tennis.
Sharing a story about her father, a former ice hockey player, she explained: “Believe it or not, I found tennis by accident.
“One day, I was driving around with my dad, and we passed some tennis courts, so we got out of the car and I decided to try it. I immediately fell in love with the sport, and it has been a part of my life ever since.”
| Rank | 1 |
| Titles | 21 |
| Grand Slams | 4 |
| Wins | 479 |
| Losses | 200 |
| Prize money | $45,175,621 |
It turned out to be a very lucky accident, with the Belarusian going on to achieve feats not many others in sport have managed.
And given that she is just 27 years old, plenty more success on the WTA Tour can be expected in the years to come.
She is rapidly approaching 500 career wins, while Sabalenka boasts a hugely impressive 21 career titles and over $45million earned in prize money.
