Aryna Sabalenka enjoyed another very strong season on the WTA Tour in 2025, but her year isn’t finished yet.
Sabalenka has a busy month of exhibitions in December, with one match involving a clash against ATP star Nick Kyrgios.
Kyrgios and Sabalenka will play a Battle of the Sexes match at the end of the month, which will take place in Dubai.
The Battle of the Sexes match has faced criticism, but the two players are certainly in high spirits ahead of their meeting on the court.

They have just appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored to discuss the match, but WTA number one Sabalenka was also asked two important questions.
Naming her greatest ever male player, the Belarusian said during a discussion about Novak Djokovic: “For sure. The numbers show that.”
And on the greatest ever female, she said: “If we are talking numbers for sure Serena [Williams], but my favourite is Steffi Graf, [Martina] Navratilova.”

Continuing the discussion, the current world number one was asked if she would beat the trio in her peak.
Sabalenka replied: “No chance. I don’t have that time to reach all the achievements they have done. I am not bad, but I’m not the GOAT.”
At 27, the Belarusian has enjoyed huge success in her career, with four Grand Slam titles among her honors list.
She’s also lost three finals and boasts two Grand Slam doubles titles, while she’s finished as runner-up at the WTA Finals on two occasions.
But 2025 saw Sabalenka claim a huge four titles, with her career tally on the WTA Tour now sitting at a mammoth 21.

There is, however, still a huge gap between her achievements and those of her idols, with Williams having claimed 23 Grand Slam titles.
Williams could return to tennis in 2026, and despite her age it would be foolish to rule the 44-year-old out of further success.
