Arthur Fery enjoyed the best two weeks of his tennis career at Wimbledon with a fairytale run to the semifinals.

Ranked 114th before the tournament, the British wildcard put together a phenomenal campaign in SW19 to reach the final four.

Fery was the only home hope across men’s and women’s singles to make it past the second round, which was his previous best result at a major.

The 24-year-old kept advancing, however, and beat the likes of Grigor Dimitrov and Flavio Cobolli en route to a semifinal clash with Alexander Zverev, which he ultimately lost in straight sets.

Following the conclusion of his incredible fortnight at the All England Club, Fery’s schedule for the North American hard court swing has been confirmed.

Arthur Fery’s plans for the North American hard-court swing

After taking a break post-Wimbledon, new world number 36 Fery will return to tour-level action at the Cincinnati Open, as per the LTA website.

The appearance in Cincinnati will mark just his second appearance at an ATP Masters 1000 event, having featured at the Miami Open earlier this year.

Fery will then enter the Winston-Salem Open, an ATP 250 competition that takes place the week before the US Open.

Then, of course, Fery will take to Flushing Meadows to get his first-ever US Open campaign underway.

Fery has made just five appearances at Grand Slams in his career, with four coming at Wimbledon and one at the Australian Open.

He tried to book his place in the main draw of Roland Garros but lost in the second round of qualifying.

Arthur Fery can put himself in a great position for the Australian Open

Now high enough in the rankings to play in the main draw of Grand Slams and ATP Masters 1000 events, Fery will enjoy debuts at several big tournaments between now and next year’s Wimbledon championships.

Between now and the 2027 Australian Open, he can have first-time runs at the Cincinnati Open, the US Open, the Shanghai Masters and the Paris Masters.

With no points to defend and everything to gain at those competitions, Fery has the chance to climb even further up the rankings.

He is 36th already, meaning by the time the Australian Open rolls around, the Briton has a great opportunity to be seeded at a Grand Slam for the first time.
