Novak Djokovic enjoyed another fantastic year on tour despite failing to win a Grand Slam.
Aged 38, Djokovic reached the semifinals of all four major tournaments, picking up wins over the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Alexander Zverev, and Taylor Fritz.
He also won two ATP titles, at the Geneva Open in Switzerland and the Hellenic Championship in Greece.
However, former world number one Andy Roddick is concerned that Djokovic isn’t getting enough respect for his achievements.
During the latest episode of his ‘Served with Andy Roddick‘ podcast, the American warned fans what not to do with Djokovic.

Roddick doesn’t want to see fans overlook Djokovic’s ‘amazing’ 2025 ATP Tour campaign.
“We tend to in sports, take greatness for granted,” he said.
“Last week, Lebron [James] came back after not having played for a month and had 12 assists that night, that’s absurd.
“His 23rd NBA season, coming out, knowing how to be the best version of himself, is he the same guy that he was 20 years ago?
“Does he have the same athleticism? Does he have that same toolbox? No.
“That’s what we are seeing with Novak [Djokovic].”
Roddick thinks Djokovic’s 2025 is one of the most impressive seasons he’s witnessed.
“Four semifinals of Grand Slams,” he said.
“Remember what a big deal we made, and rightfully so, of [Jimmy] Connors’ run in 1991, to the semis.

Djokovic’s 2025 season may well deserve more recognition, but he’ll certainly be hoping for more in 2026…

The Serbian superstar is the most successful player in the history of the Australian Open, having won 10 titles in total.
Nobody knows their way around Rod Laver Arena quite like Djokovic, and he’ll be hunting down a record-extending 11th title in January.

He won’t have it easy, though, as Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner continued to dominate men’s tennis.

If Djokovic is to win the title in Melbourne, he’d become the first player other than Alcaraz and Sinner to win a major in two years.
