Andy Roddick discussed his relationship with Novak Djokovic and opened up on an argument they had at the US Open.
The 41-year-old contented an entertaining rivalry with the Serbian during his time on tour, which consisted of nine matches.
The American won five of them and is one of the few players who can boast about having a winning record against the former World number one.
But since their final meeting at the 2012 London Olympics, Novak Djokovic has smashed numerous records in the game, including becoming a 24-time Grand Slam champion.

Andy Roddick was on his ‘Served’ podcast answering a question about the frosty conversation between Emma Navarro and Qinwen Zheng at the end of their match at the Paris Olympics.
The American said she does not respect Zheng, who went on to become the Olympic champion.
In response to this, Roddick recalled when he had an argument with Djokovic at the US Open some years ago, but since then the pair have had a good relationship with one another.
“Imagine the worst day at your job, and all of a sudden, there’s a personality mix that’s like oil and water on that day, except there’s cameras everywhere. I’ve gotten into it with many people,” Roddick said.
“Some are well-documented. And a lot of times, you would get into it, and it would be very emotional. You would say things that you regret.
“And oftentimes, like, it was squashed that night. My most famous one, it was like Novak here, and we got over it that night. We had a conversation as adults that night, and we’ve never had a bad interaction since.”
Did Andy Roddick and Novak Djokovic ever play at the US Open?
From their nine meetings, Roddick and Djokovic played just once at the US Open.
They competed in the quarter-finals at Flushing Meadows back in 2008, and Djokovic triumphed in four sets.
The Serbian took the first two sets before Roddick fought back to take set three. But it was Djokovic who prevailed 6-2 6-3 3-6 7-6(5) to advance to the last four.
Djokovic lost to Roger Federer 6-3 5-7 7-5 6-2 in the semi-finals and the Swiss Maestro went on to win his fifth successive US Open title.
