Carlos Alcaraz has made a strong start to his title defence at the Monte-Carlo Masters this year.
The Spaniard, who hoisted the trophy for the first time last year, has beaten Sebastian Baez and Tomas Martin Etcheverry so far, and will take on Alexander Bublik next.
Alcaraz is bidding to claim a ninth ATP Masters 1000 title in Monte-Carlo, and a 27th tour-level crown overall.
After a shocking early exit at the Miami Open, he is also looking to bounce back in order to protect his position as the world number one.

Still just 22 years of age, Alcaraz has earned $64,336,028 solely from ATP tournaments; a tally that already ranks fifth all-time.

The only players who have collected more prize money are Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Murray.

A total of €974,370 will be awarded to the winner in Monte-Carlo, while the runner-up will receive €532,120.
Both tallies will see Alcaraz overtake Murray to become the fourth-highest earner in ATP history.

Alcaraz has already earned a fortune on the ATP Tour, and his great rival, Jannik Sinner, is not far behind on that front.
In the all-time list for career prize money earned, Sinner ranks two places below Alcaraz in seventh, with a sum of $61,191,211.
World number three Alexander Zverev ranks between Sinner and Alcaraz with $61,319,289 in prize money collected.
Having won both the Indian Wells Open and the Miami Open, as well as making the semifinals of the Australian Open, Sinner has already made $3,215,260 in prize money this year.
The record for the most prize money earned in a single season belongs to Djokovic, who raked in $21,646,145 during his historic 2015 campaign.
