Jack Draper will enter his first Grand Slam under the guidance of Andy Murray at this year’s Wimbledon Championships.
Draper appointed Murray ahead of the grass-court season, following an injury-ridden first half of his 2026 campaign.
After making a return from six months on the sidelines in February, the 24-year-old played just four tour-level events before injuring his knee at the Barcelona Open.
How concerned are you that injuries could disrupt Jack Draper from reaching his full potential?
Having missed Roland Garros, Draper recently returned at the Eastbourne Open and will now hope to be fit for Wimbledon.
Ahead of the Briton’s fifth career run at the All England Club, compatriot and former player Greg Rusedski shared what he thinks Murray should be telling him.

Greg Rusedski says Jack Draper needs to work on serve accuracy
Analysing Draper’s game in an episode of ‘Off Court with Greg‘, Rusedski said: “I think he’s gotta get the reps, and I also think it’s about the accuracy on the serve.
“So he’s gotta take his mindset differently when he’s serving now because he talked about it. He said ‘I’m not able to pop the serve the way I did before with the way the shoulder is and everything, and I’m gonna have to accept it.’
“And as you look at Novak Djokovic, in Paris, his accuracy was off the charts. I mean, he’s hitting it so close to the lines.
“So Jack has gotta get his accuracy numbers up better so he can get that first strike in. So for me, if I was working with him, which I’m sure Andy’s talking to him about, let’s get your accuracy closer to the lines. Let’s take some pace off to save the shoulder.
How many Grand Slams would ‘prime’ Andy Murray win in 2026?
Where would he be ranked?
“And if he can get the reps and all of a sudden the shoulder can take it, then he can gradually increase the pace of the serve.
“But right now it’s playing back to back to back to back tournaments. And that’s the key. So he’s played in Eastbourne, he’s gonna play Wimbledon, and then where will he play in America?
“And if he can get a consistent run, even if he’s not serving at the same speed on the serves, it’s a buildup process. It’s like using another muscle.
“So fingers crossed for Jack. He’s been through too much already in his short career and we need him back in the game.”

Jack Draper’s results at Wimbledon over the years
Draper made his Grand Slam debut at the 2021 edition of Wimbledon, where he met first seed Novak Djokovic in the first round.
He managed to take the first set off Djokovic, but was ultimately beaten in four, before the Serb went on to win the title.
Since then, Draper has failed to make it past the second round in three appearances, with just a treble of wins to his name at the tournament over his career.
Last season, Draper entered Wimbledon as the fourth seed, but was beaten in the second round by Marin Cilic.
This year, Draper will not be a seed at Wimbledon, due to his ranking of 160th in the world.
